Information you choose to provide

If you choose to save a score, we may collect the first name used during the game and the email address you enter, along with game score and round information. We use this information to associate saved Look It Up! games with you and provide your private My Stats totals.

How we use and share information

We do not sell personal information. Email addresses and personal statistics are not displayed publicly and are not used for promotional email through the Look It Up! score-saving feature.

My Stats access

When you request My Stats, we email a temporary secure link to the address associated with your saved games. This helps prevent someone from viewing your statistics merely by knowing your email address.

Game and technical data

Game records may include questions played, round outcomes, winners, scores, and elapsed lookup time. Lookup time is used to calculate personal statistics such as average winning lookup time. The site may also process ordinary technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as session data and server logs.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use Look It Up! Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and collect information such as pages visited, general device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions with the site. We do not intentionally send player names, screen names, email addresses, or private My Stats information to Google Analytics.
